Title: No couatl.log file
Post by: pierre789 on August 03, 2016, 07:00:40 pm
Hi,
I use a new computer, and I'm surprised because the couatl.log file has disappeared.
In fact, I saw it once before a lot of problems with the re-installation of fsdreamteams softs, solved now, but I can't find it anymore in the ..\roaming\virtuali, as it was on my previous pc.
There no such file on my pc !!

Yet GSX runs quite smoothly, even if I have sometimes unexpected crashes.

FSX is on a dedicated SSD, and not on C:\program files\microsoft games\flight simulator X,
I use GSX 1.9.9.4, couatl v3.1 and addon manager v3.0.0.15.
Do you have any suggestion to bring this file back and on the location of this couatl.log file?

Thanks
Pierre

The Couatl.log doesn't exists by default. It will appear ONLY after you enable Logging in the Troubleshooting section of the GSX Settings menu.

If you don't enable logging, a Couatl.ERR file will be generated, but ONLY if an error happens. Instead, with Logging enabled, the Couatl.log will be created at each start, logging both normal messages AND errors.
