Title: Update within P3Dv3 causes coatl crash after restart
Post by: smoothchat on July 28, 2016, 01:35:10 pm
Twice now, while loading P3Dv33, I have been notified by the updater that a new version is available, and each time i have done the update, I get a scripting error when trying to select a gate.  I have replaced the fsdreamteam folder (with a backup) to roll back each time to solve the problem.

I did an external reinstall several weeks ago and it was working fine until I was prompted to update.

How do I tell what version is currently installed and how do I tell what version is the latest?

You don't say what your "scripting error" contains, so we cannot be very helpful. In addition to that, the message about the scripting error is not just saying that. It also says that:

- You can check the error log in the %APPDATA%\Virtuali\Couatl.err file

AND

- You should first try to download and install the current Stand-Alone Addon Manager

Have you done that ?
