I don't think a fourth is in their plans... Charlotte and Louisville are confirmed, and possibly Baltimore-Washington?

Isn't that like saying we need KMEM from someone other than FSDT?

No. Saying FSDT's quality is the same to Imaginesim is a huge insult to FSDT

My point is that we don't need more than one copy of any scenery. IS is far and away better than some others.

This is a ridiculous statement.

Are you REALLY saying you would be fine with ImagineSim Denver's scenery from 2011 instead of Flightbeam KDEN??  ???

Stop twisting my comments around, obviously when there are multiple options, I would go for the higher quality version.  Case in point, I was satisfied with Blueprint's Dulles... IS did a better version, I moved up... FB did an even better version, I moved up.  Atlanta is a brand new release, there are still many airports not done or seriously old that would benefit us more than another Atlanta.

updating older airports KORD and KLAS does make best sense, nevertheless that KEWR that was just released on simmarket, is a classic case of robbery.

And yet it's #8 on the bestseller list for the week.  Screenshots make Blueprint look good.   ;D

Imagine Sim isn't on the same playing field as FSDT, FlightBeam, or FlyTampa. If I'm spending $33 on a scenery, it better be up to par with these three developers.

I certainly don't think FlyTampa is on the same playing field as Flightbeam and Dreamteam, but have you ever even owned an Imaginesim scenery?

For example I had installed ImagineSim's demo version of KATL in order to test its performance. And that was exactly the problem: Got an OOM on the first flight to KATL. Well now you can say: OK, the PMDG777 needs a lot of VAS, as well as AI traffic. But at the big FSDT and FB (and also FlyTampa) airports it works. ImagineSim's Atlanta doesn't look bad at all, but at airports of this size you can see that they hardly work without the abilities the addon manager has - creating and destroying objects on demand. Same thing with Aerosoft's Frankfurt. They always claim they did so many compromises in favour of a better performance (while looking ...well at least OK). But it's still way worse than for example KDFW or even KLAX, even without an ORBX full fat region around it. All this in Prepar3D v3.2 - remember that in FSX VAS problems are a lot worse. All that prevented me so far from buying KATL. Was there an FSDT version I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

Regards, Dominik

How can you say FlyTampa is not on the same playing field as them? That's asinine. I have World Airports 3 and 4 on FSX which combine for 9 Imagine Sim sceneries. They're better than default, but still not that good. They're mid-level at best like Latin VFR. Taxi2Gate is better than Imagine Sim also.

That might've been true before Memphis, but the stuff Umberto pulled off with Couatl put FSDT on a whole new level. And according to Mir, Umberto was going to be teaching him some of it.

You make it sound like FSDT is the only pioneer in scenery development. There's no doubt that FlightBeam and FSDT have pioneered some tremendous features and effects, but FlyTampa has set the bar themselves time and time again. I think we can all agree that we'd like to see these three developers come together as one to maximize the quality of every future scenery to be released. That's not what this discussion is about though. You're just trolling this thread by stepping on FlyTampa after I said I'd like to see a KATL that's better than Imagine Sim's.

Blueprint does only terminals (poorly), and puts it over default plateau (runways/taxiways/grass....), they are too FS98ish.

Go back to page 1 and read the entire thread. You're the first person to mention FlyTama, putting them on the same playing field as FSDT and Flightbeam.  I disagree with your statement, so I'm stepping on FlyTampa?  You've been stepping on Imaginesim the entire thread, who's really the one trolling?
