Note: I read a post on the Milviz forum by someone who had added the Milviz F4 to VLSO, and he had to add some info into the aircraft.cfg file [General] section, which is this:
atc_type=McDonnell_Douglas
atc_model=mv_phantom_J
performance=
Category=airplane

Just curious. Why does the A-7 have the name label of F4B Phantom? Shouldn't it have the Name of A7 Corsair or whatever?
Side note: We used to call those things Great Whites onboard ship. They had a nasty habit of eating people. During the Flight Deck Safety Brief, they told us that if we felt ourselves getting sucked in to try to FOD the engine. Throw in anything useless you can grab. Your cranial, flashlight, floatation vest, chocks, a nearby bosun's mate...Anything useless that comes to hand fast. ;D :D
Have fun with it! I swear, vLSO was written with special coding in it so that the AI vLSO's hate me. They really do! My lousy recoveries have NOTHING to do with it, I swear! Often, too...
