Title: Blocked gates

Hello

I like the new feature, where I can preselect a gate before landing.
But I experienced two times (once in EDDF, once in EDDT) that the preselected gate was blocked by another aircraft.
So I had to change the gate again and chose a free spot.

What can I do?

That's why there's an option to change a gate. You did exactly what you were supposed to do.

Just to get it right: I can't be sure, if I get the preselected gate?

So I just need some more luck  ;)

We added the pre-select gate because users asked for it, but I always thought it wasn't worth it.

That's another reason for this: you cannot be sure that, the gate you pre-select in GSX won't be taken by an AI by the time you arrive. That's why we initially made GSX asking for a gate only after you land...

GSX cannot "lock" your selected gate: it would require we would constantly check the parking you selected and destroy every vehicle that will try to approach it.
