Hello, I could not understand why every time I use Air China in China I get the Cathay Pacific catering vehicle?

As explained on the manual, and too many times to count on the forum, the livery you fly with your plane doesn't have any relationship with the livery of the ground operators, and this is of course correct, because it would be unrealistic to be serviced by your own company everywhere you go.

The operator is related only to the airport and the parking codes in the AFCAD.

Well that's weird as I kept getting Cathay Pacific Catering Vehicles.

Well when you think about it for a second that isn't quit out of the norm based on real life. Airlines often do just that thru contract services with one another.

And some airlines in the US don't even serve meals, just snacks. Don't need catering trucks for SWA, but GSX doesn't know that.

That's because you are landing in airports that only have that operator assigned to.
