Hello!
I get a crash simulator due to an error couatl stakehesh. Last Updated crashreport simulator did not appear. Couatl was just a mistake.
Several times I reinstalled GSH. I took advantage of the recommendations of this site:
http://group-mail.com/microsoft-windows/windows-7-and-vista-stackhash-or-appcrash-error-fix/
I turned off the antivirus software and ASN. The result was the same.
I noticed some of the features in the previous version :
On PMDG 737 Aerosoft EDDF v2 crash occurs at the entrance to the gate C5, while in the selection gate B43, which is directly opposite the completion of the simulator did not happen. After that I made a circle over the airfield and after planting chose Gate B10. I reached him, fulfilled almost all GSX procedures and simulator flew.
On PMDG 777 MD UUDD work stoppage occurred on the parking 28. And in that moment, when catering ended and the message about the need to close the doors. After moving to the parking 33, everything was normal.
I should prepar3d 3.3.5
Sorry for my english.
I have attached 2 files previous version of GSX and the two files from the latest version.
I am hope for your help.

Same here. Since installing the latest Addon Manager update I get stackhash errors in Prepar3d v3.3.5 all the time. After de-activating the addon manager and Couatl, the sim is rock solid. No CTDs...
-
As I've said, so many times already, we were never able to replicate any of these errors, but several users found to be related with using lots of other 3rd party addons.
What other 3rd party addons with a module you have installed ?
-
I never had this problem before. Only since the last update of the addon manager. I only have SODE, FSUIPC and ASN installed apart from the addon manager and Couatl.
Edit: Just checked. Also have Orbx Objectflow and two PMDG modules installed.
-
Edit: Just checked. Also have Orbx Objectflow and two PMDG modules installed.
The next obvious step would be trying by disabling these modules and see if it makes any difference.
Set the <Disabled>True</Disabled> in the DLL.XML file which might be located either in the %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin folder, or the %PROGRAMDATA%\Lockheed Martin folder.
-
After updating GSX to the current version yesterday, P3D (V.3.2) crashes all the time (StackHash_0a9e) despite of the airport or aircaft.
Before the GSX update P3D was rock solid, never had any crashes before. When I remove GSX and AddonManager everything is fine.

Yes. I just tried starting Prepar3d with a virgin Prepar3d.cfg (just deleted the old one) and only loaded the addon-manager in a new dll.xml and Couatl in a new exe.xml. Right on the Scenario screen I get a Stackhash error. So this is definitely caused by the Addon manager or Couatl.

Try to reinstall now and be SURE the antivirus if OFF when installing. And, be sure you exclude the files (or, better, the whole sim folder) from scanning in the antivirus settings.
-
Reinstalled and did a quick takeoff in the PMDG NGX from Ibiza. No CTD in the first 10 minutes. Looks promising. With the old version it did always crash within the first 2-3 minutes.
-
no success
I redownloaded the full GSX installer, installed without antivirus active but P3D crashed always with stackhash error.

As you can see, the previous posted said he doesn't have any other crashes. Be sure you disable and configure the antivirus correctly.
-
I added prepar3d folder in the exceptions for antivirus. Unfortunately, this did not give any effect. Full disabling anti-virus is also nothing on impact

But have you reinstalled GSX when doing that ? Please do it now, and report back.
-
Add me to the list of users experience the StackHash error. Re-install of all FSDT products incl GSX and same error received. AV disabled while installing, and exceptions added. Able to use P3Dv2.5 and my FSDT airports just fine as long as GSX is not installed. Had no issues until today when I updated GSX.
-
Again, have you reinstalled it NOW ?
-
Reinstall in accordance with your recommendations, I tried in Frankfurt Gate C5 again the same mistake. B43 normal.
-
So, you get a crash on one gate, but not at the other ?
Please clearly identify:
- The scenery used
- The airplane used
- What you did when you had the crash
Do you have a Couatl.ERR file or a Couatl.LOG in your %APPDATA%\Virtuali folder ? If yes, post it by attaching it to a message.
-
Again, have you reinstalled it NOW ?
Downloaded within last 10 mins. Seems to be holding, will advise if error returns.

Used scenario Aerosoft Frankfurt v2.08
PMDG 737
The error occurs in the parking lot C5, C8, B10. In the parking lot B43, B44, V162 all right. Parking S to 737 have not tried, but in the PMDG 777 errors were (at least to the last update).
Error occurs either at the entrance to the parking lot (before the upgrade was so), or during the execution of GSX procedures (it was now).
Thank you for your willingness to deal with this problem.

I'm sorry but, I don't have the PMDG 777 for P3D, so I tried it with the Aerosoft A321 and the default A321, at EDDG gate C5 and C8, and no crashes of any kind.
I have the PMDG 777 for FSX:SE, tried at gate C8, and no crashes either.
Do you have crashes with a default airplane in P3D, at the same gates ?
-
Default flight with default F-22 in P3D 3.3.5.17625 clean install (KLAX and CYVR). It has crashed while in the sim and also during loading.

These files are from 3 months ago, and none of the is related to P3D. Our log or error files are located in %APPDATA%\Virtuali
Of course, as I always do before replying to any crash report, I did the same: loaded the default F-22 in P3D 3.3.5.17625, and went to KLAX. No crashes, of course.

Sorry wrong ones...This was default flight with F-22 at default airport (Florida).

Your error is unique, never seen before and never reported by anyone. It seems you are simply missing a whole folder (fsdreamteam\Couatl\WX) that is supposed to be installed by every FSDT installer.
Do you have that folder ?

Yes, the same. Now my departure did not happen. But couatl.err file is created. I enclose it. We have night already. Tomorrow I will write another check. Thank you!

Unable to tell now as I uninstalled CYVR, KLAX and GSX. No more crashes.

Did that twice already. Each time AV was off during download and install (Avast free).

And ? Do you still have the same error about the missing wx ?

Unsure as I never was aware of it prior. But I would think after 2 failed attempts it likely was there. I did however test FSX Acceleration and no crash...but then again I haven't updated lately either. Add-on manager when open shows 3.0.0.14
FYI: I always make it a habit to shut the AV off when downloading new update for either FSX/P3D and leave it off during install. And I never ever run either sim with it on.
-
New install of both KLAX and CYVR. No crashes yet. No GSX installed and installers used are from today (download).

I have FlightBeam KSFOHD and KPHX, as well as FSDT CYVR, KLAS, and KORD installed with no issues. Since installing KMEM on Sunday, I have been unable to spend more than 5 minutes in the sim without receiving a StackHash CTD. They come at random times, sometimes midair, sometimes on the ground (irregardless of if I'm at a FSDT/FB airport or not), and sometimes when I'm trying to load the sim. I uninstalled AddOn Manager and Couatl scripting engine and was able to complete flights without crashes. I decided to do a fresh reinstall today and downloaded the AddOn Manager from the FSDT website at 2300Z, and still got the exact same error. I am running Prepar3D 3.5 on Windows 7 64-bit, with Active Sky Next, FSUIPC (registered), and the PMDG NGX. Here is my latest crash report:

The previous poster confirmed his crashes went away, and so other users in other threads too. Please be SURE (absolutely sure) you:
- Turn OFF the antivirus when installing
- Configure the antivirus to exclude the sim folder from scanning.
-
100% sure, I don't use any kind of live-scanning antivirus software

Not even the default Windows Defender ? I noticed that, opposite to all other reports, your crash happens in Prepar3D.exe NOT Couatl.exe. What other 3rd party modules have you installed ?
Have you tried disabling ALL of them, except (of course) bglmanx.dll from the dll.exe and Couatl.exe from exe.xml ?
-

Sorry for suggesting something: Couldn't be better to have a list of the addons that could cause trouble when using FSDT apps?. I don't want to think that a general statement like "several users found to be related with using lots of other 3rd party addons" will suggest a limit on the numbers of the addons we may use in our simulators, which is obviously a very unfortunate approach.
Cheers, Ed

I don't have any crashes, and I keep installing stuff, but still haven't found a problem...

You are now confusing this with another ENTIRELY different issue, which doesn't have anything to do with what is being reported here, which is the StackHash_0a9e error in Couatl.exe (which of course I or anyone else at FSDT is able to replicate either), with the last user reporting instead a StackHash_0a9e error in Prepar3D.exe, so they are at least TWO different issues, possibly similar, although, if you search on Lockhed Martin forum for "StackHash_0a9e" related to Prepar3D.exe, you'll find many reports of it, none of them associated with any of our products, but it seems to happen for a number of reasons.
The one you are confusing with, is another problem of many "unrecognized id" in the error log, which MIGHT be caused, instead, by Simconnect flooded with commands by too many addons, so we don't get a chance to talk with it, or it replies with corrupted data. But it's NOT what is being discussed here.
We are obviously trying to understand what really causes BOTH problems but, you will understand that, as long as we are unable to replicate it, we can only rely on user's help because the only possible explanation is some kind of conflict with something we don't use or we don't know.
Unfortunately, while users seems very active posting here, even if I asked repeated times to have a Teamviewer connection, at least with those that have repeatable crashes, but nobody with either these two problems has contacted me back to arrange it.
Now, it's 2:20 AM here, and I'm still posting, and for EACH and EVERY crash report, I ALWAYS try to replicate the same situation as reported (compatible with the addons I have, of course) and as of today, I still haven't seen A SINGLE crash on my system. Same as anybody else at FSDT.

I would like to report the same issue here using P3D 3.0, Crash Error StackHash_0a9e, I am havin crashes when loading, at the menu and in sim everytime the same error. installed GSX, YVR, HNL, LAS.
-
Did a full flight in the PMDG 777 from Aerosoft EDDF v2 to FlyTampa Copenhagen. No more hashstack error. So for me the problem seems to be solved...
Only small problem I had at the departure airport was that even though the GSX pushback worked fine, I couldn't see the pushback truck in outside view.

I have a towing truck is visible, but marshal not walks but swims on straight legs.

No crashes thus far. What I did was remove all FSDT products clean folders out. Prior to reinstalling turn anti virus off completely. Once confirmed off redownload all new installers of your products then reinstall products. Once done go into where you can add an exclusion/s in your anti virus (still off). Remove any old or previous exclusion\s you had. Make new one\s that include the whole folder not just a single file.
Done.
