After this recent update, coutl has been extremely prone to crashes, generally after arrival at a gate. Attached is a screenshot of the error, and my log.
Nothing in the recent update can have anything to do with this specific error, since nothing has changed in the FollowMe.
The "cruise speed must be positive" error has been reported and explained many times on the forum in the past, and (especially in case of the FollowMe, that must check the whole airport), it's usually an indication of a problem in the scenery, like overlapping nodes, orphaned nodes, unconnected links, unreachable parkings, etc.
-
Before this update, I never had this issue. I have had this error at airports that used to work just fine!

As I've said, nothing in the recent update can have anything to do with this specific error, since nothing has changed in the FollowMe.
This error happens because there's some problem in the scenery at a certain point but, if the path chosen by the vehicle won't have to pass through the problematic area, there will be no error.
You might have not noticed it just for pure luck, for the simple reason the FollowMe will start from a RANDOM parking each time, so the path chosen is not always the same.

I have the exact same error message and the same error log

Same here. After installing the latest update, Couatl crashes every time I load P3D with the previously mentioned error message.
This is on a fresh install of P3D (reinstalled Win10 + P3D last weekend).

Same thing man. EVERYTHING was FINE before this update........now everytime I select catering service for my PMDG 777, GSX crashes. With the KMEM scenery it stopped letting me use the catering option for my PMDG 737 at any airport, but it didnt crash GSX.(I made a post) I'm running FSX Accel. I dont know why but it seems like everytime their is an update GSX starts messing up......anyways here is the error:

Hi,
had the same issue, occuring just after the update while still sitting at the gate.
It was solved by downloading and using the full installer.
Oliver.
-
I have done that as well and still has the same issues.
-
Got this error earlier tonight. Usually FSDT's stuff "just works" but not now....
-
All of you with a Couatl 3469 version in your log: the errors are caused because you haven't installed the yesterday's update, which should have prompted you to download and install the latest Stand-Alone Addon Manager.
We'll check about the remaining errors related to the current version.

I tried doing the same, Deboarding the default A321 at PHOG G13, and I don't have any errors. Check your FSX.CFG if all your Simobjectpaths lines are correct, as explained here:

There is no prompt to download latest Addon Manager, only prompt is to update couatl followed by endless loop of either error message or close couatl. If the intent is to advise us that we also need to run the addon manager update I am afraid that fails.
Also, the couatl is run with P3D running and no need to restart. The addon manager needs to be run with P3D closed. Correct? Why not tell us when launching P3D that a new addon manager needs installed?

The prompts are not updated constantly, but only every 24 hours.
The addon manager needs to be run with P3D closed. Correct?
If there's an updated to the Stand-Alone Addon Manager, it requires P3D to be closed. The Live Update notification will tell you if this is the case.
Why not tell us when launching P3D that a new addon manager needs installed?
Because many users complained about too many notifications, so we listened and had the update to check for updates only every 24 hours. But you can force a check anytime, using the relevant option in the Live Update menu.

Installing the update: Lets pray it works! EDIT: Installed the update, I get an error the minute I request catering.

I have installed the update and after initially getting the error mentioned a few times, it hasn't popped up since.
But if it does, I will post again. Trying running a whole flight with Coastl disabled and then reload it.
(Note: For my FSX, San Diego and parts of Florida are "corrupted" when loading a saved "flight" from that location (it will crash if I load that flight directly from the load button on the startup page) so I have to load the previous non-Florida/San Diego flight direct, then load the other flight. I can not tell you if this caused the program to start working or not. My guess it didn't.)

Never mind, installing the standalone ADDON MANAGER seems to have fixed it. I think the problem is fixed now, but if it does not work I will get back to you. Thanks for your help! Oh, and I see some new features coming judging from that customization panel ;)

Yes, that's what you have to do to get a new Couatl.exe.

Hi,
Sorry for my bad English.
Please, may you give me a direct link for download the Addon Manager?. I am looking for it and can't find it. :'(
Thanks!

There's a link to it in each and every page of every product, on the left side of the page. Impossible to miss...
