Title: GSX 1.9.9 with P3D 3.3.5: Pushback tug not removed?
Post by: MELKOR on June 10, 2016, 05:04:17 pm: Uninstalled existing GSX, downloaded latest full 1.9.9 installer. Normally the installer will replace vehicles_airport.bgl in order to remove the default pushback tug.

But, not this time...! Regression in the new installer?

According to P3D you only need the "Client" installer, the "Content" installer is optional, when you updating P3D.

I am not sure whats you are meaning with "upgrade".

I am updating only the "Client" installer and I dont ever run in problems, also my friends.

Release Notes

The following list of updates has been categorized based on the installer required. The Client installer is required for Prepar3D v3.3, however the Content, Scenery, and SDK installers are optional. You must first have Prepar3D v3 installed to utilize the Client only installer. To install the Prepar3D v3.3 Client, you must first uninstall the Prepar3D v3.0/v3.1/v3.2 Client via Programs and Features in Windows Control Panel. The Prepar3D v3.3 Client update will require you to reactivate your product, however if you have an internet connection it will be automatic. For more information please view the Prepar3D v3 Download/Installation Instructions from the Prepar3D.com Downloads page.

Dude. Where did I say anything about installing P3D? I am talking about GSX!!

In your topic, which clearly says P3D 3.3.5, which just came out like yesterday or day before.

No message (error or otherwise) about the default tug when installing.

Is there an installation log file generated anywhere that might be of help to you?
