After the latest addonmanager update, when I try to start the catering service, I get this error message: "gsx catering service not available for this aircraft". This is with every aircraft at every airport. I reinstalled the update but the error persists. Also modifying my aircraft to fit at the gate makes no difference. Is anyone else getting this error and what can I do to resolve this?

You need to install GSX, not the addon manager.

GSX is already installed. This happened after I updated with the addon manager.

That's precisely the reason why the problem happens, and what Bruce tried to tell you. You must update GSX using the GSX Full Installer, installing just the Addon Manager won't work, as indicated on the Live Update release notes.

I have the same problem, installed the full installer and objects just vanishes. Reinstalled GSX after deleting ALL folders and just no juice. It's not the same object either. It is different with each reload.

Then you don't have the same problem. The OP said he get the "gsx catering service not available for this aircraft", which is a specific message indicating the latest objects haven't been installer, you said they just vanish, and haven't said anything about any messages.
Please indicate the airport, gate and airplane used and, if possible, the operator selected.
Also, if you installed the PaintKit, even in the past ?

After updating using the full installer from the website.
I have baggage trollies without tractor, then catering service there is no guy walking out with a trolley anymore. The default FSX tugs all of a sudden is in the way and does not disappear like it use to do when I load the gate services. This happens at any of my airports payware, default and freeware. Also pick random gates still the same issue. And its never the same object that goes missing, sometimes one of the stairs, sometimes a cargo loader. I have never used the paintkit and never installed it. Even uninstalled everything and cleared out any directories that has gsx objects. Still no joy.
Thanks for a great product though. Looking forward to some of the additions mentioned in other post.

Sorry, but that's just not possible you would see all these issues with the full installer. The default Truck still showing up is very strange, since it's one of the things that are patched to be made invisible when installing with the full installer. Have you seen any error messages while installing ?
There were only two vehicles missing: the yellow large Pushback truck, and the mini Van, and they have been both fixed in the latest vehicle update (and the current full installer as well) here:

I have restarted the process again downloading the update from yesterday and installing, so will get back too you on that shortly. I know, very strange, just started popping up all the time, all the other defaults disappear 'cept the pushback tug. No errors when installing.

Ok, after re-installing everything still have the same issue. Herewith some screen shots of the missing trolley and missing catering agent, the new scania truck you can just see the agent walking past the gate, but the old truck there is no agent. The tug issue also still there.

I just found a new error in the log file. Could this be the issue??

I can only repeat and confirm that, if with "tug", you mean the large yellow pushback truck, it works fine now. It was the only object still missing, together with the Van.

Yes, of course it's a problem, with so many errors, nothing will work. Of course, those errors are not even supposed to happen in the first place.
Please DO NOT post a part of a screenshot, ZIP the Log file and Attach it to a message.

I am having the same issue as this. It is not just an issue of install.
I installed the update (full version) and noticed that any aircraft at any location it would state "catering service is not available for this aircraft". I decided to completely uninstall GSX (yes I unistalled GSX, Couatl, Virtuali and yes to all, removed all filed from app data, program files, and did a full new install). Still experiencing the same problem. I use all default aircraft and never added a paint kit. Only been using GSX for a couple months.
I believe this thread has never resolved this particular issue.

I just tested an airplane the user said had a problem on an airport the user said had a problem, and I the message doesn't appear and the catering works.
Please indicate ONE reproducible case, indicating the airplane, the airport and the gate used.

KIAD gate B26. CRJ7 or any aircraft
Which KIAD ? Default or Flightbeam's ? Which CRJ7 ? Default or 3rd party ? If 3rd party, which one ?
KATL gate 12 737 or any aircraft
Which KATL ? Default or Imaginesim ? Which 737 ? Default, PMDG, iFly, or something else ?

as I mentioned. All are default

I have done further testing and have found that the airport / gate are irrelevant. I used KIAD gate B26, KATL gate 7 and 12, KSNA gate 8 and 10, KLAX, etc, etc.
The problem is aircraft specific. the aircraft that state "catering service not available for this aircraft are:
(keep in mind some are obvious but I wanted to be complete)
Beach 58 (default)
Beach350 (default)
CRJ7 (default)
Lear45 (dsefault)
C172 (default)
C208 (default)
DC3 (default)
EMB-135 (Feel There)
EMB145 (Feel There)
EMB 120 Brasilia
I can use the above aircraft at any gate, any airport with catering service unavailable for this aircraft
Obviously some like the c172, B58 I would expect a catering truck not to be available, but the CRJ7 and Embraer's I would expect services.
The Feel There 175 and 195 both work as well as the Majestic MJC-8

This issue is for any of the above airplanes at any parking location.
Are you stating this will be fixed in the next update?

We cannot possibly know how many versions you tried or if you skipped some but yes, it has been there for a while. With "versions" I mean every single update, even the minor ones.
This issue is for any of the above airplanes at any parking location.

Might I suggest treating customers with just a bit more respect. Nearly every response to most questions gets an answer that appears to portray that it is a bother to have to answer these questions. Every answer seems rather condescending to your customers. They are the reason you have this means of income, not the annoyance it seems to be from the responses.
Please read my full replies above to see that this does indeed happen to larger aircraft, not just GA (CRJ7 default, ERJ feel there series).
And yes, catering did work at parking or gate and with smaller GA prior to this latest release. In fact, everything worked fine before this release with the exception of "disappearing" vehicles/people during movement. Gates and Parking areas had catering vans or trucks all appear for any of the mentioned aircraft.

I haven't said anything about being "GA" planes. But they surely ARE small planes, in relationship to the rest of the airplanes supported by GSX.

No, it didn't always worked. You simply might have not noticed it, because it affected only parking spots with some parking codes, and only when used with "small" (not "GA") planes. It wasn't a problem that was always there from the beginning, but it has been present for months.
However, I don't see the point of discussing the whole issue, since I already said it's has already being fixed in the upcoming update.
