I updated GSX today and made a flight into KDFW. Preselection of a gate in the air and a gate selection on the ground makes couatl to crash.
Selected C30@DFW. Using Win7 with FSX.

Nobody is doubting the problem exists. It's confirmed to be a bug and, as I've said, we are working on it.

I had a COATL crash when flying from KIAH to KLAS after install of the new KIAH & GSX.
Jetways inoperable to KIAH. Coatl crashed when I was attempting to park at the gate at KLAS.
Truncated log...
[12:18:15.922] ERROR SODE.FSLOOP : SimConnect EXCEPTION! ID=3 (hundreds of those messages)
15:25:06.134] INFO SODE.FSLOOP : SODE disconnected from Simulator!

COATL completely missing from my add on manager after that

[12:18:15.922] ERROR SODE.FSLOOP : SimConnect EXCEPTION! ID=3 (hundreds of those messages)
This looks like a problem happened in SODE that *made* Couatl crash. Try to enable Logging in Couatl *before* starting a flight, so maybe the next time it happens, it might have logged something of interest in the Couatl.LOG.

This problem should be fixed in the current Live Update, you can get it by checking for updates in the Live Update menu.
-
Success! fixed. Thank you very much.
Edit. Sorry, premature post. It is not fixed. It worked at my Taxi2Gate Seattle after the download (but not before) but it does not work at FSDT LAX for me.

Here is the error log. I think it's different from before.

Yes, it's different. Do you still get the error after a "Restart Couatl" ?
-
Yes. The first time I restarted Coutil all the scenery reloaded so I tried selecting a parking gate again. The second time it restarted the scenery didn't reload. All that was there was the jet bridges. That was the same result each time I restarted it after that.

We are checking it now.
Thanks, for me that problem is solved.
But I have one more question: I was arriving with my PMDG AAL but AAL was not displayed has handling operator at KDFW. I think AAL has heavy traffic there.
-
I played with this a little bit. It turns out KDFW is working correctly. Then I went to KORD and tried it and I got the error. The error report was the same as the one I posted in reply#9. I restarted Couatl and the scenery reloaded. I shut down Prepar3d and the restarted it directly to KORD. This time when I tried to select the gate Couatl just crashed with no error messages or anything. Then I went to KJFK and same result. Next I restarted my computer and went straight to KJFK and same result. I decided to try some non FSDT airports. I tried Taxi2Gate KMCO and I got the error message. I know this one is not Prepar3d compatible but I did a manual install and it worked. Then I went back to Taxi2Gate KSEA and it worked. Next I went to default KTUS and it worked and then to FSDT CYVR and I got the error message. I hope this helps point in the right direction to fix this.

Yes, this error is the only one we are still investigating into. You must wait a bit, since our main GSX developer is away for the weekend.
-
Ok no worries. To add more data I tried different gates at the same airport. I went to PHOG and gate 23 worked and gate 1 did not. I'll be away working all weekend so I will distract myself with that :)

The latest Live Update is installed and I checked several of the problem gates and they all work now so it appears the problem is solved. Thank you.
