Hi,
Recently I bought the PMDG 777 and would like to use GSX with it.
Unfortunately the GSX menu doesn't popup at any airport.
(It does show up with the PMDG NGX and other aircraft)
I searched this forum and read some postings (wingspan issue) but I don't know how to resolve.
Edit:
Forgot to mention:
- P3D V3.2.3 (last version)
- I did reset aircraft in GSX editor and restarted couatel
- Tried several gates (heavy)

I used the installer which I downloaded on 13 February 2016.
I checked for GSX version number in several GSX Options menu's but couldn't find any

The problem doesn't have anything to do with GSX. There's a problem with the P3D Client-only installer, so that ALL 3rd party apps with a menu won't display it, if you don't install the "Content" too. See here:

Thanks for your reply, but that is not the issue.
As indicated in my initial posting, the GSX menu shows up with other aircraft (like the NGX) except with the 777.
I'm not saying it is caused by GSX, maybe it has to do by the 777 itself.
The problem is I don't know.

Do you have an empty menu, or no menu at all ? Check if you have a Couatl.err in the %APPDATA%\Virtuali folder.

Hi,
There was an err file but it had been created 2 months ago, so I deleted the file in order to have a new one created.
(It contained errors for airport LFLB which I didn't use for testing the 777 with GSX and 2 months ago I didn't have the 777 anyway)
Before starting P3D, I installed the latest version of GSX, released yesterday.
After starting P3D and at FlyTampa EKCH, no new error file was created.
I have mapped Ctrl-Shft-F12 to open the GSX window and double checked all 777 keymappings in the FMC for conflicting mappings.
There was none.
Also Ctrl-F12, the common 'YouControl' menu mapping in Couatl key mapping window doesn't function in 777.
Here are 2 images, at FlyTampa EKCH gate C33 (also tried other gates)
With NGX full menu, with 777 no menu at all.

OK... Departing at LEPA I got the popup.
It seems to have resolved, or was it user error?
I'll check at EKCH again when I have landed.

Hmmm... still no luck at EKCH, now tried B10 (heavy) gate.
The 777 is recognized by GSX in the GSX aircraft editor. Still no error file.

Hi,
I tried more airports, like payware EGLL and LFMN and there GSX functions with 777.
So my guess it must be AFCAD related. Somehow the (or my) AFCAD of FlyTampa EKCH is not compatible with 777 at EKCH.
Do you have any idea what that could be?
It's only a minor inconvenience.

Oops.. I already had tested it but forgot to mention.
No, it does not open.

So, to sum it up:
- The PMDG 777 works with GSX in every airport, but not at FlyTampa EKCH, where's its menu doesn't open.
and
- The NGX (or any other plane) works with GSX at EKCH
I find this quite puzzling, to say the least...
