Title: FSX Can't be found when I go to install **SOLVED**

Hello,

When I try to install GSX, and open the installer, it says that Flight Simulator X cannot be found. I do have FSX on my computer, and it's installed in the default directory. Any Ideas as to why?

This is what happens:

Just to add on, I have FSX Deluxe Edition, so I do have the Acceleration Expansion Pack.

If the installer icons are all greyed out, it means:

1) The SP2 or the Acceleration pack are not installed

OR

2) Your registry keys for FSX are missing or pointing to the wrong folder, which can happen if you tried to "move" your FSX installation to a different drive/folder without reinstalling it

Hello,

Well, I managed to fix the problem by installing SP 1 and 2. I have no idea why, but it appears I only have FSX Basic. But yes, now it works! Thanks for the help!
