Good Morning. I have reinstalled and tried just about everything possible to dress this issue. I am still perplexed as to what is wrong.
This is the error message from the log
couatl v3.0 (build 3187)
panic log started on Sat Mar 26 10:09:06 2016
problem raised by engine or unspecified addon
{'Airport': 'KVPS', 'User Pos': (30.499341241036138, -86.51128621752711, 28.3284 m, 1.81139 m, 192.17780852999937)}

I can acess the menu and select a gate but when i select the handler i get this message. It doesn't matter at what airport i am located. I have reinstalled the content and scenery for Prepar3D_v3_Academic_3.2.3.16769 with no joy.
I have tried the latest addon manager and set for gsx and unistalled them also.
Any help appreciated.
Pete

The error message seems to indicate you haven't installed GSX, because it says it cannot find objects that are SURELY included with the GSX installer (AAY = Allegiant Air, I believe this has been included in GSX since the first release) so, the most likely explanation seems that you uninstalled GSX and reinstalled only the Stand-Alone Addon Manager, which IS required to support P3D 3.2, but it won't work "alone", with no GSX.
Try to uninstall everything, and reinstall with the latest GSX FULL installer.

Hi There. Thanks for the reply. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Removed SODE and reinstalled with the latest version and now get this error
couatl v3.0 (build 3187)

So, the previous error about the missing vehicles has gone, which confirmed my suspicion about not having installed GSX.
However, I really cannot explain or reproduce the other "problem raised by engine or unspecified addon" error, which simply cannot happen.
What other addons have you installed ?

I have same problems.

I have same problems.
Post your error log, so we can see if you really have the same problem.

As I suspected, your error is entirely different, and it's happening because you are using an outdated GSX. Download either the full installer now, or the latest Vehicles update, on the GSX page.

Your log doens't show any error. Please describe your problem more clearly.
-

I'm sorry, but I can only repeat and confirm that, if you are missing the Traffic cones, the ONLY possible reason is that you have an OLD version of GSX, made before we added them. The one currently online includes them, since last September:
http://www.fsdreamteam.com/couatl_liveupdate_notes.html
Sep 10th
New feature: Traffic Cones
IMPORTANT: to see the Traffic Cones, you must also download and install one of the GSX vehicle updates! GSX will give you an error message if their model is not installed.
So, again, either download and install the CURRENT GSX Full installer and NOT something older you might have downloaded in the past, or download and install one of the vehicles updates.

That's fair enough. My doesn't show the show menu doesn't show, even after reinstalling it, changing the key combination amoungst other things.
It does show alerts when the engines are still on or parking brakes are off but nothing when the aircraft is in the correct place with its engines off.
I have windows10 Pro 64bits and P3dv3.2
I've tried different airports, times of days but it stays the same.

That's fair enough. My doesn't show the show menu doesn't show, even after reinstalling it, changing the key combination amoungst other things.
That's because, as I've said looking at your error log, you don't have ANY problem in GSX!!
It does show alerts when the engines are still on or parking brakes are off but nothing when the aircraft is in the correct place with its engines off.
Which clearly indicates the program is working.
I have windows10 Pro 64bits and P3dv3.2
So, you are likely having the issue caused by P3D 3.2 installer (NOTHING to do with GSX), which has been discussed so many times already on the forum, and doesn't have anything to do with this thread, which instead is about an error message from GSX about missing objects.
Your problem is entirely different (why you posted in a thread named "error log message" when you don't have any errors), it's not a GSX problem, it's the well known P3D 3.2 installation bug, that doesn't include support for 3rd party menus, if you upgrade by installing the "CLIENT" installer only.
In order to have the menus back, you must install either the CONTENT or the FULL installer. This of course is totally unrelated to GSX, and will affect ANY other 3rd party app with a menu. None of them will work if you install only the P3D 3.2 Client.

Umberto,
Please don't be so defensive. If some of us are seeking your guidance is because we can't find any info!
Did you ever consider creating a separate sticky topic for the most current issues? That way people like me won't have to ask and will save you time.
Thank you for showing me the fix and will reinstall using your method.
Regards
Eduardo

So i have the lastest . and i make update too ( vehicle ) and same problems again.

It was discussed here:
http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,13329.msg99318.html#msg99318
Want know how I found it ? I cannot possibly remember every forum thread so, I simply used the "Search" function of the forum, using "P3D 3.2 menu" as keywords, and selected the option to show "Most Recent Topics".
The 2nd hit was the post I've linked.
Did you ever consider creating a separate sticky topic for the most current issues? That way people like me won't have to ask and will save you time.
If we had to create a Sticky for every issue, there will be so many pages of stickied threads, that you would have to use the Search function anyway, which is what would have lead you to this solution.
-
So i have the lastest . and i make update too ( vehicle ) and same problems again.
No, you don't. If you had, you wouldn't see that message. Nobody else is reporting this problem, and all than did in the past, fixed it by installing the current full installer or the latest vehicles update.

i go to products, download there the installer , then say me please what i do false.

Sir,
Please check for how many years I've been your customer and on that time period never a complained. Please stop been so patronising and check how you say things.
At no time I've not been less than polite and agreed, thanked you for your support and if you can't see when to reply "Happy to help" and leave at that, don't say anything.
I am a customer and not a friend of yours giving my honest feedback.
You owe me an apology for the way you replied.

Please check for how many years I've been your customer and on that time period never a complained. Please stop been so patronising and check how you say things.
You are now being patronizing with your accusation of being "defensive". In my last reply, I simply pointed you out that, the forum has tools to HELP YOU finding the information you need because YOU said that it was difficult to find it. So I helped you, and got this kind of reply in exchange.
At no time I've not been less than polite and agreed, thanked you for your support and if you can't see when to reply "Happy to help" and leave at that, don't say anything.
I was trying to HELP you. Since it seemed you didn't know how to use well the "Search" function of the forum, if I replied the way you are suggesting (not saying anything), you would still miss an information that might be
I am a customer and not a friend of yours giving my honest feedback.
And I'm replying with only the things that will benefit you the most.
We have a Sticky about Reinstalling after losing the email receipt, which is very visible. And the same information is repeated on the FAQ (which is called FAQ for a reason). And the same information is on all products manual.
And still, I have to reply to dozen of emails or forum messages each day, from users that don't know how to retrive a lost email.
So, I know for sure that Sticky threads are not always the best solution, especially considering new issues (this one, caused by P3D 3.2) keeps coming out, so if we had a sticky for each new issue, the front page will be fully of sticky very soon, so it will then become very difficult to follow the "normal" threads.
That's why I said, if you have to use "Search" anyway, to Search amongst an ever growing list of stickies, you might as well learn to use Search on any thread.
That's what I wanted to say. If you want an apology, then I'll apologize for trying to be of any help.

I suspect you are downloading something, but you are not installing what you are downloading. Maybe the download went somewhere else, so you are launching an installer (which has the same name, of course) downloaded in another location, which is not the latest ?
