Title: scripting engine **SOLVED**

since reinstalling fsx i cannot get gex to work . loading aircraft at airport then calling for gex i get the usual menue but checking 
for boarding the program closes.  couati is wiped off from the addon file. this is i believe a problem in the past. in the post that i read none of the suggestions would apply in my case. any help would be most appreciated . the following message is displayed
"couati scripting engine stopped working"

Check if you have a Couatl.ERR file in your %APPDATA%\virtuali folder.

thanks for the reply   checked there is no file as named in the folder.  on checking my version its 1.7.9.8 i now see there is an  later update. is this a paid upgrade? if not how can i download would this help my problem

Your version is very old. Just download and install the full GSX installer, which will work with your current registration.
