Title: P3Dv3.1 GSX cause freeze

Hi all,

My P3D freeze everytime when I open GSX and select which handler (different airline), any ideas how to resolve the issue?

First, be sure you use the latest GSX version. If you are not sure, download and install the full installer now.

Sorry to jump in.  I don't have a solution, but I'm just curious if it is one airport where the freeze is happening or any airport?

Enable logging in the GSX Settings page, restart the sim, go to the airport that crashes and let it crash. Then check your Couatl.LOG file located under %APPDATA%\virtuali folder and attach it here.

Don't post it as text, but ZIP the Couatl.log file and Attach it to a message.

Are you running SODE?  If so, which version?  Some 3rd party products install SODE versions that are not compatible with GSX and/or P3D V3.x.

SODE entry is located in your DLL.XML or EXE.XML.  The SODE files are usually under the P3D root ...\SODE.

The file I asked for (Couatl.LOG) is missing, and there's a "Copy of" it. Please do it again, and send the original file.

There are no errors in your log file, which dates yesterday. The Couatl.ERR file you sent dates a week ago, are you sure you don't have a new one ?

I just experienced GSX to freeze/total stutters in KTEX Orbx Teluride.  I had to switch GSX off.. Never seen that before.
I have  FS Global Ultimate - Next Generation , Vector, Global, HD airport Textures, open LC North America, S & N California, South Alaska. Flight beam KDEN and Aerosoft Aspen KASE which are the closet payware airports.

The picture show a screenshot during stutters and the game memory in task manager that shows its not an OOM.

This thread was more than a year older, and the OP never replied to it so, I'm not really sure your problem is the same or related. Does it happen only at that specific airport ?

Hi

Yes it did.. I tried with Aerosoft A320 and PMDG 737 and GSX didnt work in KTEX Orbx ..
It was a parking lot that I manipulated to contain a small aircraft in airport settings.
But as the picture show it worked when I arrived in Orbx KPSP   


And later in Greece as well. Athens and LGMT Mytilini.
