I am using REX Texture Direct in P3D v3 for texture replacements and I am wondering if the airport lights have any effect with FSDT Airports?
Does FSDT airports use their own lights or does it use the default halo bmp from P3D or REX?
I don't like how the runway lights are floating above the runway and not attached to the ground. This has been a problem even back in FSX.

Some airports use default airports lights, some don't, there's no rule (although more recent ones tend to use their own custom textures).
If you use a 3rd party replacement texture product, it should be that product responsibility that replaced textures are "better", but compatible with the original ones, otherwise they would create issues everywhere.
