Same problem with activating KORD today

I can only confirm the problem is caused by either your firewall or antivirus. Just be sure they are ALL off, and try again.

Of course, if you cannot turn off the firewall, the offline activation works too, it's just a bit more complex, but if you do it correctly, it will work just as the online one.

Antivirus is turned off, Firewall has never been turned off. Still get this message. You guys would need to check your side as I was able to activate ALL of your sceneries on this machine except KORD (that i started to activate 2 days ago)

Firewall has never been turned off.

That's precisely my point: you should turn it off.

Sorry -  I meant "it has never been turned ON"

I eventually used manual activation for KORD that was pain in a butt honestly. I'm going to buy CYVR later tonight and I hope to avoid this problem.

Something is really happening on your side. I have been FSDT customer since LSZH release and never ever has this problem before. Please look once you have a time

We might try asking Esellerate, but it the manual activation works, it means the activation servers are working (I'm not sure if the activation with the browser use different server, maybe it does), but I think it's not so much more difficult.

More bad news...trying to buy CYVR and I cannot do it either way. Esselerate URL is dead.

Again, please check your assets.

Works fine from here, just tried it now. On the web page.

If you are trying to buy inside the sim, it's likely the same firewall/antivirus problem that blocked the activation might also block the purchase. But the Esellerate site is running normally, orders are coming as usual (more than usual, because of the sale...), and users are activating correctly.

Both turned off. Windows firewall turned off permanently, Norton AV is turned off occassionally for situations like this. First time happens with me.

When I click on buy via "Web/Paypal" I directed to Esselerate URL which is dead as well.

I don't want to buy product "manually" as my profile is already stored both internally (sim/system) and on FSDT store.

Please fix the issue or provide on-line support session.

When I click on buy via "Web/Paypal" I directed to Esselerate URL which is dead as well.

I checked it now, and pressing the Buy on Web/Paypal open the Esellerate web page normally. It's exactly the same link as the "Buy on Web" button on this site, which is also working here.

Are you able to open the Esellerate page clicking on our "Buy on Web" button ? If not, try to clear your browser cache.

Try a different browser. I'll ask it again: is the link working if you click the "Buy on Web" button on the website ?

I don't want to change my normal routine for a single purchase.

Quick question - if I buy directly from FSDT web-site, will this order be linked to my FSDT ID (meaning e-mail)?

Thanjs

ìI don't want to change my normal routine for a single purchase.

I haven't asked you to "change your routine". I asked you if the site works by clicking the "Buy on Web" button of our site from a normal browser *outside* FSX, AS A TEST, trying to understand if your PC cannot reach the Esellerate site globally, or if you cannot reach it JUST under FSX, because it's the *FSX* app that is being prevented by opening the site from itself, which would indicate a block of *just* the FSX app.

There's no such thing as an FSDT ID or FSDT account for purchases. The only account you have, is the forum account, which is not linked to the purchase process.

Every order you made, it's linked to the email address you decide to use for that order, so you might want to always use the same one for convenience, because it will be easier to retrieve the orders in the future if you lost them AND if there's a Coupon or an upgrade offer, which is usually related to the email used for a past purchase, it's best if the email you use it's always the same, but every order is separate, they are not really linked to an online account.

It might look like an account, but that's just because, in the integrated purchase process (only), your data is saved locally (in the registry), so you won't have to type it again for future purchase, but it's something entirely local to your system.

...just bought it manually. Feel like I'm in 20th century.

And thanks for $11 discount!

I agree. In fact, the in-app purchase (when it works), with the automatic activation it's the easiest/best option. But, funny enough, 80% of the customers buy from the Web page, maybe because it looks more familiar.

While I was typing this, I just got an email from Esellerate, and they DO have a problem with the servers that handle the in-app purchase and the online activation, which are different from the ones used by the Web purchase and Web activation, and they have set up an high-priority ticket to have this fixed.

In any case, since both the Web purchase and the Web activations are working, everything can be bought and used normally it's just a temporary minor annoyance that I hope will be fixed soon.

Purchase through FSX now works, Esellerate has solved the problem!
