This has started happening a lot on recent flights and I am at a loss as to why

It is very annoying as I am usually on a vectored approach using something like the GTN750 and enjoying the flight
I wonder if you can assist me in troubleshooting

I should add that the Couatil.exe file has been added to exceptions list in my anti virus program

You are not using the current version of it, which is 3187 as of today. Try reinstalling GSX now.
