GSX is skipping a BGL file for a freeware KMEM. The log says it skips it because the file is too big to be an airport.

That's not a problem, but it's the result of the cache optimization strategy, that will skip files that are usually too big to be an airport .BGL
The size over which a scenery is skipped can be configurable, as discussed here:

So, if you are sure that .BGL contains the airport data, just set the airportCacheMaxBGLSizeBytes to a number that is higher than that its size.
