I have had this also for about a week or so randomly after installing scenery. I fixed it by deleting the couatl folder inside c:\program data\virtuali

Then restart my computer, and start fsx

Nothing indicates this is an error related to any of our products. It looks more like an error from a product using .NET, but we don't use any of it.

As I've said, please more precise when reporting such errors, if you cannot describe them accurately enough, make a screenshot.

It must be as GSX was not showing up in addons

That doesn't necessarily means THAT error you reported had anything to do with this. You might have two problems at the same time, and they might be related or not. As I've said, please more precise when reporting such errors, if you cannot describe them accurately enough, make a screenshot.

  Application Name:   couatl.exe
  Application Version:   3.0.0.3171

Try to reinstall GSX now (use the same installer you already have), because you don't have the latest version of Couatl.exe ( 3185 as of today ), and report back if you are still getting this error.

another GSX crash when starting FSX

You omitted the only one important information in the log, which is the Couatl.exe version number, to verify you have the current version. But there's no need to post it again. Just reinstall GSX now, so you will be sure you are getting the latest version.
