I'm getting so pissed off right now, I can hardly see straight.
I've been trying to get GSX to work all morning, as well as most of yesterday evening.
The problem is that every time I have to regenerate the airport cache, the process fails. Yes, every... single... time!
So far I've tried the following:
- Reinstalled GSX multiple times
- Excluded the \Programdata\Virtuali folder AND all subfolders from Windows Defender
- Removed all addon sceneries as well as the Addon Scenery entry
- Tried to take ownership of the \Programdata\Virtuali\ folder as well as all subfolders
I am running Windows 10 Pro on a Acer Aspire V3-772G laptop with the following specs:
Intel Core i7-4702MQ CPU
Geforce GTX 850M GPU (2GB RAM)
32GB RAM on the motherboard
256GB SSD as well as a 1.5TB HDD
The log file is too long for me to include it directly in this post, so I've uploaded it to Pastebin (http://pastebin.com/MJCtxFb1) instead.
Edit: A new attempt, adding some of the scenery entries I had previously disabled, still a failure: http://pastebin.com/f9gsPPDU (http://pastebin.com/f9gsPPDU)
Edit2: Yet another attempt, adding even more previously disabled scenery entries, this time Active Sky Next was not running in the background: http://pastebin.com/Q3dQ90gY (http://pastebin.com/Q3dQ90gY)

Yes I am having same problem exactly at any airport I choose, Have new gsx installer and all updates, and tried several restarts on FSX steam,
-
Also same thing pops up after doing the shift + cntrl +f12 and the cntrl + f12
-
Same here. Failure after 60 seconds message and then couatl crashes most times. If I press cntrl f12 I get a no valid AFCAD message. I am assuming I get that message because the scenery cache has not completed regenerating. This all started after the most recent live update.
-
Reinstall GSX now, so the installer will download the latest Couatl.exe file, which will fix this problem.

Thanks Umberto. All Good

Ciao Umberto,
sorry for hitchhikeing the threat.
Can I reinstall GSX on top of an existing install (I think yes), cause I´ve lost the eSellerateMachine and get every time I fire up FSX the appropriate error message.
If yes (reinstall on top) would this cure the symptom?
Thanks for your answer and your perfect support on the whole!
Buona giornata e Salve

Yes, you can reinstall GSX without uninstalling first. If uninstalling was required, we would clearly advise to do that or, more likely, had the uninstaller issue a warning.

Many thanks Umberto
