Title: GSX Demo - couatl.exe unable to start correctly **SOLVED**

I'm looking to purchase the GSX ground services for FSX Steam edition. Downloaded and installed the demo to make sure it was compatible. Installation seemed to go ok but when I start FSX I get the error message couatl.exe - Application Error (0xc000007b). I installed with both firewall and windows defender switched off. Any help would be appreciated

That seems to be a problem of missing/corrupted system libraries in your system. Try to download the VC++ 2013 runtimes from here:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

Download and install the x86 version. Restart Windows after you installed them.

Thanks for the reply. I did re-install x64 version as I'm running Win 8.1 64 bit. Is the x86 version correct in this instance

x86 version fixed problem. Everything working OK. Will be purchasing today. Many Thanks
