Hi everyone. I'm having trouble accessing the GSX menu in game with the PMDG 777. When I press ctrl+F12 no menu appears. GSX seems to be working fine with the default aircraft. Does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem is?

I am wondering if it has anything to do with the size of parking spot at the airport?
-
If you have parked in a parking spot which is too small for a 777, GSX would warn you with an error message and a sound.
But if you put the "Message Verbosity" slider in the GSX Settings all the way to the left, because you didn't like the messages, you wouldn't see such warning.

I tried loading the aircraft on the runway first, and doesn't work after landing either. The menu just doesn't load with the PMDG whatever I try. ???

The PMDG 777 is an internally supported airplane so, it's just not possible that GSX would work with another plane, but not with the 777. This of course, assuming you haven't customized and made some kind of mistake, so the internal configuration is not used anymore.
Try to use the "Reset" option in the airplane configuration editor, to restore the configuration to the one that comes with GSX, then select "Restart Couatl" and try again.

I tried that but nothing changed. :(

Check if you placed a GSX.CFG file (a file you might have downloaded in the past) in the airplane root folder. That's not being reset by the "Reset" option. If you have such file, remove it.

I couldn't find a file like that anywhere. Do you think reinstalling the 777 is worth a shot?

Surely not.
Do you still have the GSX menus under the "Addons" menu after you select the 777 ?

Yup! Everything seems to be set up fine, it's just that the menu won't load in game. I changed the key mapping to ctrl+g incase it wasn't recognising the f12 key on my MacBook, but no matter what I change it to it doesn't load. Only with the 777 though!
I might try reinstalling it, but I'd rather not have to install all my liveries again.

Maybe it's a Bootcamp drivers issue, because the F12 key is assigned to the "Up Volume" (at least, on my 2009 MacBook Pro...), so it's possible it will get confused under Windows. Strange, in fact, it's only happening with the 777.

Yeah I've tested it with other aircraft and it's the only one that seems to have an issue. Frustrating!

Okay, I don't know what I did but it seems to be tentatively working now. I need to press and hold down ctrl+f12 and it loads begrudgingly. Many thanks for your help!
