Title: System error **SOLVED**
Post by: qf747 on April 03, 2015, 06:53:40 am
I changed the settings for an orbx Airport (YBBN) and whenever I try to load GSX I get a message:

[GSX] System error while accessing file C:/Program Files (x86)/Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X/ORBX/FTX_AU/FTXAA_YBBN/scenery/ORBX_APX_YBBN_Poly_Statics.bgl: CreateFile Failed: The system cannot find the file specified (system: 2) does anyone know what this means? and how to fix it? It's never happened before when i load orbx airports.

Try to force a scenery cache rebuilding, by removing the following folders:

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX\SceneryIndexes
C:\ProgramData\Virtuali\Couatl

Then, start FSX and wait for FSX and GSX caches to be rebuilt.

I don't have a program data folder, do you mean program files? Because I checked both and I couldn't find any of the folders you were talking about.

Every windows system has a ProgramData folder, but it might be hidden by default, so you need to enable viewing of hidden files in explorer. However, typing C:\ProgramData in the blank area of the Start button, would open that folder anyway.
