Title: Can't Start GSX installer and other FSDT installers **SOLVED**

Hello, i have recently bought GSX and it is working fine until now.
First, i re-installed my fsx and made a backup file of my original file on my desktop.
And today i tried to install GSX but when the installer first runs, it saids it will install the gsx into my backup file which is on my desktop, and then i deleted my backup file but now i just cant start every installer from FSDT, according to my event viewer, the program closed it self soon after it started.
I dont know what or why is causing this but please help me with it.

First, restart Windows, and don't try to launch two copies of the installer. Also, turn off the antivirus, because it might take a long time for it to check all files when they are being decompressed. And, turn off the antivirus because it might block the installer from running.

You did all of that, in just 2 minutes between my reply and yours ( which includes the time to type your reply too... ) ? Are you sure you did all of that ? If yes, you can LOG the installer this way.

- Open a command prompt  ( start -> CMD -> enter )

- go to the folder where you have the installer, for example:

CD c:\Users\Yourname\Desktop

Assuming you put the installer on the Desktop

- launch the installer (GSX, in this example) with this command:

gsx_fsx_setup.exe /log=install.log

This should hopefully create a file named install.log on your Desktop. If you have it, then send it to me ( via Email, please ).

yes i did that just before i post, but still cant start it.

The 2nd solution will not "work". It will only allow (hopefully) to CHECK what's wrong with your system that is preventing the installer to run.

Ok thank you very much, i have been tried to restart my pc again to clear some problem of my pc, and when i done my restart and tried tto start the installer via the cmd, it works! thank you very much for helping me anyways. Have a nice day :)
