Title: I am unable to use GSX, now unable to reinstall

I tried to use GSX in a flight but coualti didnt even show up.  I uninstalled GSX and KDFW and tried to reinstall but got this error:

"Setup was unable to close all applications.  It is recommended that you close all applications using files that need to be updated by Setup before continuing.

Click Retry to try again, Ignore to proceed anyway, ore Abort to cancel installation."

I closed all applications and nothing changes.

You are trying to install with FSX still running, or not properly closed. Installing after a Windows restart will surely fix this.
