Title: GSX and Traffic 2013
Post by: Tony F on August 11, 2014, 05:59:35 pm
Hi  Have been using GSX for a long time and it works great. Installed My Traffic 2013 yesterday and now GSX doesn't work. Any suggestions?

What do you mean with "doesn't work" ? If you have inaccurate parking positions, that's normal on 3rd party airports, because the AFCADs supplied with My Traffic shouldn't be used on 3rd party airports.

If, instead, you mean nothing works and GSX is not even starting, it's possible the installer has corrupted some FSX files somehow.

Do you still have the "Addon Manager" and the "Couatl powered products" under the FSX "Addons" menu ?

Ok, so you have both menus, and that's good. What do you mean, exactly, with "doesn't work" ? Do you have any errors ?

When I press ctrl + f12 I don't get any options such as gates or parking. Nothing shows up. As soon as I uninstalled Traffic 2013, pressing ctrl+f12 gave me the options.

As soon as I uninstalled Traffic 2013, pressing ctrl+f12 gave me the options.

So it seems that Traffic 2013 is using the same key combination, causing a conflict. Either change that key in Traffic 2013 (if possible) or change it in GSX, using the "Key mapping" option under the "Couatl powered products" menu.
