Title: Trees on Approach
Post by: abueren on July 23, 2014, 11:01:29 pm
Hi there,

I took my first approach into KIAH yesterday, landing on 08L. Strange thing is, there are a lot of trees right near the beginning of the runway that you would actually crash into in a normal landing. Any suggestions what to do about it?

Thanks
Adrian

I don't think you would hit those trees if you follow the glidepath correct, but maybe we might remove a couple of them. There's nothing you can do about it right now, we would have to update the scenery.

Leave them, makes for an interesting approach.    ;D

ok, thanks for the answer. Interesting for the approach indeed, but maybe not too realistic. But surely nothing of high priority. Just wanted to make sure, it's not some sort of compatability problem.

Best regards
Adrian

If your that low to almost hit the trees your too low.. I flew that runway & didn't have a problem.. I kept her high & cleared the trees no issues..
