Title: How do I operate the jetway

One of the most basic commands of FSX: Ctrl+J

If the jetway doesn't move, it's probably because of 3 things:

1. You don't have "Advanced Animations" checked in the FSX settings menu.

2. Your aircraft is too far away/or too close to the terminal

3. Your aircraft exits aren't configured properly

You don't say which scenery you use. If a scenery doesn't have animated jetways, they won't move. As explained on the manual, and many (many) times on this forum, nothing in GSX changes the way jetways will operate. They will continue to work (or not), just as they were before installing GSX.

This is all fine, accepted and understood, as explained on page 11 of the manual--,however--, GSX is asking me to use the jetway, at my assigned dock--, when NO fsx jetway exists there. Hence, gsx will not provide the front stairs, coz it believes there IS a jetway there.
So--, I'm wondering how to get around this problem.

Again---, A brilliant piece of software, I'm extremely grateful.

If GSX says there's a jetway there, then there IS a jetway, regardless if you see it or not. The reason why you don't see it, is entirely unrelated to GSX, and might simply because you have your Scenery Complexity too low, and all default airports don't display all their jetways at all complexity levels.
