The photo in your sig brings back bad memories of when I used to fly FS9 at 100% traffic, I was always well back in the line.   ;)

Well I have to say it wasn't easy creating this line, I had to wait for lots of minutes for the traffic to build up. By then so many planes where going to depart that it caused the ai aircraft to disappear.  ;D

Sounds like the five minute timeout.  Any AI in line that doesn't move for five minutes gets nuked.  Good news is it gets you to the runway sooner.   ;D
