Hi, Umberto:
For those who own the previous version of KIAH, do we need to uninstall the existing version before installing the new one? which is the recommendation?
Thanks, Ed

You can install over an existing installation.

I installed KIAH with full installer. As soon as loading is done, it then crashed.

What "crashed" ? The whole sim ? the Couatl program ? Have you also updated GSX too ?
-
Yes GSX and KIAH. After loading, I see trees but no buildings. I also see "regenerating 71%" then whole sim crashed. A pop-up message saying "sending problem to windows - cancel button" then "restart Microsoft Flight Simulator X" with cancel button.

Try to force a complete cache rebuild. The updated Couatl has a menu option for this, so you can do it on another airport, wait for the cache regeneration to be completed, and try moving to KMEM then.

Done cache fully at CYYZ then tried to open KIAH, it crashed just after 100%. I did not purchase KMEM, is it required?

I can only repeat and confirm it doesn't happen here, and right now you are the only one reporting a crash at KIAH

Of course not.
I think the only solution left is a Teamviewer session, so I can check your system directly. PM me for details.
