Hi,
I'm struggling with a problem here, not being able to use the Live Update. I get the following error:

I use default Windows Defender and I have added the Addon Manager folder to the exclusion folder.
I tried deleting the QlmLicenseLib.dll, QlmLicenseLive.dll.manifest and QlmLicenseWizard.exe as I saw suggested in other similar threads, but no luck. I keep getting this error. Also Loading my LFSB scenery there was a problem of the terminal walls not appearing, thus I wanted to run the Live Update.
Any help would be appreciated.

For me, staying stucked at 0% (download) since many minutes!
EDIT : this tool is badly developed! why it indicates "Completed" and "All your FSDreamteam products are now updated", but it continues to indicate downloads progression? it's stupid IMHO!

It seems that uninstalling and reinstalling GSX solves the issue. I'll report back if it reappears.

The tool is neither "badly developed" nor "stupid".
It's just that, for obvious performance reasons, it doesn't update the progress bar for each and every file that gets checked, because screen refreshes would make it unnecessarily slower so, in your case, since there wasn't anything to update, it completed before the progress bar even started, so it was still 0%. This can possibly happen more easily if your screen refresh is set to 30 hz, and the update took less than 33 msec. to complete. But also on 60 hz, if the update took less than 16.66 msec to complete. Not likely, but possible.

- Run the FSDT Live Update again

I've been having this error when trying to run Live Update for about two months now. When loading FSX, the Live Update window pops up asking to run Live Update, I close the sim and run the Live Update tool as an Administrator and I get the error on the image every single time. Now, everything works perfectly on the sim, it is just a nuisance to be asked to run the live update feature only to receive this error. The pop up inside FSX appears about every fourth time the sim is loaded. Any help please?

I did that and while it works the first time after re-install, after I've launched the sim it does the same error again after.

I cannot reproduce the error in any way, but I can confirm that, those affected all fixed either by reinstalling GSX or by doing the following:
- Restart Windows
- Remove BOTH these files:
Addon Manager\QlmLicenseLib.dll
Addon Manager\Couatl\QlmLicenseLib.dll
- Run the FSDT Live Update again
If that doesn't fix that on your system, chances are you might have a problem with .NET not fully updated. Be sure you apply the latest Windows updates too.

I have all latest Windows updates installed. Unfortunately your suggestion does not work for me. The only way to update GSX is to uninstall it and reinstall it - a lengthy process...
Can you indicate to me which .NET packages GSX needs in order to reinstall them?

That should be required only once.
Can you indicate to me which .NET packages GSX needs in order to reinstall them?
I think it requires 4.5.2 as minimum, or any later version.

Hi,
I got around this by deleting the QlmLicenseLib.dll from Addon Manager and Addon Manager/Coualt and then running the updater (Coualt_Updater) with admin rights and directly from the Addon Manager folder.
Also did a restart before doing so and deactivated the live antivirus.
