Title: Very bad textures at night
Post by: Danielgarzag on August 07, 2018, 11:34:09 pm
I really love FSDT's Houston, very realistic and works great. Just a little problem, at night time the textures look very bad and the lighting is also very bad and not realistic compared to the daytime. Will there be an update in the future for FSDT's Houston to fix these lighting and textures?

Yes, but in the very night. The plane is all black and dark and the floor and light are very bright not looking realistic.

It's normal the airplane would be very dark because, in order to be lit by the scenery dynamic lighting, it must be close to a terminal building because, in order to not incur in the performance drop usually associated with DL, we activate the lights only when the airplane is close to a terminal and only the lights on the side of the terminal the airplane is located.

If you also have those ground washed-out colors, then it's likely you (or some other addon you installed), must have changed something in the default brightness/contrast/saturation parameters, see the linked thread.
