Title: GSX went in demo mode and can't activate it

My GSX version was activaded and works great.
I went in holiday for 2 weeks and when I come back yesterday I bought a scenery (Aerosoft Florence X) and I installed it.
I also did a registry clean with CCleaner.
Then I started FSX and noticed that GSX went in trial mode but in the addon manager says it's activated because it only shows De-Activate button.
I de-activated and re-activated it few times with the .reg backup file and few times manually but it's still in trial mode and i can't use it in other airports if not at LIML, EDDM, KSFO.

I turned off firewall and antivirus

Download and install the Stand-Alone Addon Manager for FSX.

Done, now i get "FSX has stopped working" at game start....

Fixed.
Now FSX starts normally but GSX still in trial mode

when you bring up the addon manager and highlight GSX, does it say "Installed and Active", or "Installed, but in trial mode"?  You said something about a reg cleaner, it might've deleted your serial number.  Did you save that little .reg file that was generated when you purchased?

Do you run Windows 8 ? Do you use FSX or any of the FSX add-ons you run with it, in any of the "Compatibility" modes ?

Yes I have Windows 8.
It worked fine until I went away for 2 weeks...
In the addon manager it says "Product Active"

Try to change the FSX\fsdreamteam\couatl\Couatl.exe file properties, to run "As Administrator", under the Compatibility tab. Every other compatibility option should be off, in every FSX add-on and of course FSX itself.
