Title: P3D V3
Post by: Ursli80 on October 05, 2015, 12:15:27 pm
Hello

I wanted to ask if the Scenery LSZH and LSGG already P3D V3 are appropriate and whether the Speed Trees are taken?
This is a nice effect.

Best regards
Urs

ALL our sceneries are compatible with P3D V3.

NONE of our sceneries includes Speed Trees: you cannot expect that a scenery made 7-8 years ago would include a feature which has been added to the sim 4 DAYS AGO.

It's possible we might use them in future sceneries, after we'll verify how much bigger their memory and fps impact will be, and after we'll decided if we could afford to remove other things to make space for the animated trees.

Some of our sceneries already have animated trees, for the example the Hawaii airports.

You can place Speed Trees in any scenery, using the Sim Director.

Hello Umberto

Thanks for your answer.

I realize that this is not done overnight with the Spee Trees  ;)
But as I have understood that, you try to integrate these when it comes?

But who is the option as you have said it to the Sim Director, this is already a beginning.
Unfortunately I have not the V3. Is this a function of the Director Sim V3?

Thanks for the effort.

Greeting
Urs

As Iv'e said:

If you don't have P3D V3, you cannot use Speed Trees. It's not an issue of the Sim director, it's just P3D V2 doesn't support Speed Trees.

Hello Umberto

Thanks again for your answer.

I have this question for the future provided that I shall certainly set me sometime P3D V3.

I'm only safe if it is not to be right now.

But the Sim Director is part of P3D V3?

Best regards
Urs

You need the P3Dv3 SDK for this. You can see the SDK in your downloadsection at LM.

It has always been part of P3D, just the V3 version has been updated with more features.
