« on: February 01, 2013, 03:49:18 am »
The new update should include...
Detailed load/unload- between these the loaders etc back away and the door is required to be closed?
better tug realism- backs into the parking and as some airlines have it is that the tug isnt under the jetway but already in postition.
The option to choose the airline that you get
and finally have De-Icing equipment
Thanks!

Please explain better what do you mean with "detailed" load/unload.

The pushback tug already backs into the parking when it's finished. It's can't be placed already "into position", that would be unrealistic and wrong, because you would easily smash it with the airplane when parking. Maybe you meant "aligned with the airplane", but that would cause lots of problems with parkings that have docking systems, fuel depots and any other case of limited space in front of the parking position. The current DEFAULT position for the tug is the only one that works reasonably well with every airport.

But that's just the DEFAULT position, if the scenery is not customized. By customizing the scenery using the included customization feature, you can adjust the tug starting position to be different in every single gate, so the whole argument about changing it can be fixed this way.

The selection for the ground operator will probably appear in the next update, this has been discussed already

De-icers will surely appear, maybe not in the next upcoming update, but likely the one after that.

It has been a long time since the last major update. It's great in one way, that means that there is not much of problems with the product = You didn't release a unfinished project.

Buut we hear promises of new implements, and have for some months now. Winter is almost over and the seasonal De-icing is soon comming to an end. Shouldn't you concern on this product again? Isn't it "THAT" time for something more?
I know you have been bussy on Vancouver(Great product BTW) But what is next? Can you finally think GSX again?

As I've said, the first next update will have user-selection for ground operators and it shouldn't take very long.

De-icers wil come after that, but are a larger update, because we don't just need to do de-icers, but integrate them in the system, including the ability to customize their position in the editor, etc.

But BEFORE doing any "new feature" update, we are still sorting out a few bugs left which are affecting a FEW USERS only, were sometimes the right AFCAD is not being read or no AFCAD is read at all, result in no services.

This has the topmost priority, because we value the experience of existing customers (even if only a few are affected) higher than adding new features, which is meant more to attract new customers instead, so this is what we are working at right *now*. Even if new features are of course interesting for existing users too, it's way more important to be sure the program works correctly for everybody.
