The G3D.DLL it's a very well known crash, and it doesn't have anything to do with our product, if only marginally, meaning if there's some kind of bug in your video driver or a problem in your FSX video settings which is affecting one of our (otherwise 100% FSX compliant) scenery or GSX objects, you get the error, and you are mislead thinking it's something *caused* by our software, when in fact it's caused by video drivers and/or FSX settings/tweaks which is affecting our objects, which use more graphically complex settings and features (like multiple bone animations, advanced shaders, etc) which requires your video drivers not having bugs and your FSX setting and tweaks applied correctly.
Sometimes it's fixed by installing the very latest FSUIPC version, but if that doesn't fit it, you'll have to work on your video drivers and/or FSX settings.

Hi, MRose.. I read your original post, and then you secondary posts: you initially said "crash" then that became "hanging" in your later post.. It's important to understand whether this is a crash to the desktop, or the sim simply stops, (hangs) but the sound continues.. Can you expand on the symptom a little, please?

I believe the crash I was refering to is a BSOD not directly related to the G3d.ddl error i am having. JUST want to clarify FSDT products seem to be running fine however slight problems with animation ground crews acc move but dont walk if you know what i mean. i dosent really hang. What is the FSUIPC that you refer to ???

This has been discussed on the forum several times and, of course, is not really a GSX problem. The issue is, you are seeing the animation from too far away, or with a too wide zoom setting. FSX automatically disables all animations for an object after a certain viewing distance (especially for small objects like people), likely to save fps, so you see the people moving (because *we* move it from GSX), but without the walking animation, because FSX automatically turns it off.
Nothing of this could of course cause the PC to "hang" instead, nor it's an indications of some kind of problem with GSX. It's normal, and it can be fixed by simply zooming in or going closer with your viewpoint to the object.

Aaaahh.. I don't suppose there's a chance you got the BSoD's error message, did you? If not - go here, download and install this, "BlueScreenView, by NirSoft. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html They have a slew of great utilities that make PC life SO much easier! When you run it - it will read the memory dump from the last BSoD, so - go to it!
Meantime - http://forum.simflight.com/forum/30-fsuipc-support-pete-dowson-modules/ Pete Dowson is real nice guy who built a program that will insert itself between your controllers and FSX, allowing you to connect multiple stick, switches, keypresses, and other addons - eventually you could use it to build a full cockpit. An amazing piece of software. Amongst other things, it traps a particular g3d.dll error, and will also smooth out the odd, strange gusty wind! Most long-time simmers will buy the payware version, and never look back. It's like TrackIR - once you've tried it - you don't want to fly without it. ;)
All the best,
pj
