That error shows you don't have the most current GSX version installed. Try to download the current full installer and install that one.

Glad to hear your problem is solved.
Couatle en virtuali won't work together with windows 8 on my machine.
I downloaded en installed everything again.
But fsx freezes in the startscreen.
Sometimes it start after it shut down the Couatle programm. (I don't remember the right names.)

Well, that will give a lot of trouble in october  ;D
