I have deleted plenty of these files over the years which seems to make no difference to anything but I don't recall seeing/doing this for the T-45C until just now. Have deleted the .DIZ file in the 'sound' folder and then flown the Goshawk OK. BUT.... I don't have sound on this computer to know if the sound has been affected but I don't think so.

You can move the file or rename it but YMMV.  ;D

After reinstalling the new T-45 I noticed that in VC mode the green type on the HUD is very small and faint. Does anyone know if there's anything I can do to get the larger type back?

Hi, can you provide a screenshot, perhaps cut only the HUD?

Dear Spaz and Frenchie88,

I appreciate the replies, very helpful.

Thank you,

Please see attached screengrabs.  They were taken one after the other on the new T45.  Could the colour be a bit more intense or text a bit more bold?  (On the Digital Integration F/A-18E Super Hornet it was possible to change the font colour; it could be varied continuously from red to violet.  Sadly, it will not run in Win 7 HP.)

Please ignore the "scrunched" gauges - I have compressed 3 screens into 1 to show the VC on 1 screen.

Thank you,

Tregarth

I think the problem may be the resolution - the HUD looks more detailed on high resolution monitors. I have attached a picture that was cropped from 1920x1080 screenshot and then it was squeezed into a 100kb jpeg - you can still see a lot of detail. Unfortunately, there is nothing else than can make the HUD look better. Changing the color does not make the symbology look sharper, just different, you can see that with the blue and green. I have worked with Dino to provide the best looking symbology possible with an xml-based HUD.
