Sludge FA/18 Basic CS Armed, flying in North Korea, shut something down  ;) I'm using "JustFlight" for AI traffic. Herb

Dear Herbie,

Thanks for the image good shooting, what did you hit?

A thought for you; I notice you have the TASK BAR showing on your screen grab.

A tip I have seen on the Just Flight forum is to set the Task Bar to "auto-hide" to reduce the load on the processor and so increase the frame rate.  Apparently the Task Bar (with clock etc) is processor hungry so this might improve your PC's performance a little.

Happy hunting,

Tregarth

Or just press Alt+Enter to enter full screen.

Herbie,

You can also use FSXPilot (free) to locate AI traffic. It has an EFIS panel that physically shows all AI's (including those of Captain Sim), relative to your plane...just another option.

Hello Tregarth I did hit a small airplane at 12000 feet. The Task Bar auto-hide is a good thing, full screen Not if you are using 2 Monitors. I notice with win7 there is something different using 2 monitors like we had in windows XP. It was Not extend or duplicate we had 2 independent windows. About air-traffic, It is not how many I see, with the Sludge FA/18 I see what kind, what direction to take how high the plane is and what speed it flies, can't bead that. Herb
