my new computer

g'day guys, my first post here

didn't see a section for computer specifications etc so posting here, hope that's right

4 years ago my flightsim-specific computer cost almost $4k and it is now basically "not too flash"
budget for new machine (FSX only) was $2k and this is how i've gone:

CPU is AMD Phenom II 6 Core 1090T 3.2Ghz
Mobo is Gigabyte GA 880GA UD3H (Revision 2.1)
Drives are A-Ram SSD Ultra II 60Gb 2.5" and
Hitachi 1Tb Deskstar 7,200 rpm
GPU is HIS ATI HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition 2Gb 256 bit GDDR5 850/4800 Mhz
Memory is Corsair Matched Pair of 2s = 4Gb (will probably up this soon)
PSU is Antec True power Quattro 850W
Cooling is Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H50
Op System is Windows 7 Home Premium
i know it would fit in a smaller case but...this one gives me a woody..

hey thanx cybermasterz, appreciate your feedback - gettin the best bang for my buck here i reckon

caint believe the difference in $$ spent and specs compared with 4 years ago, truly awesome difference
spending half the money and getting 100 times the performance
makes you wonder where we'll be in another 5 years.....
