Thanks Maverick3333, seems like you're experiencing the same issue as me. I suspect the sim is freezing as it's running out of virtual memory, which is crazy on a 64GB machine.

As I've said, it takes 300MB here and doesn't grow. Something ELSE must be happening on your systems, because it's surely not normal.

No it happens as soon as I load a flight.

You got 40GB of memory immediately ? Are you able to at least enable logging ? Maybe there's some error that is filling the log file itself.

No it starts off at 99.8MB when MSFS24 loads the addons in exe.xml, but then quickly grows to 40GB+ as soon as the Start button appears in MSFS24 (i.e. the page that appears as soon as MSFS has finished it's loading sequence and prior to selecting Free Flight followed by the Departure airport). When I click on the GSX menu once in the aircraft, I get the GSX spinning circles and am not able to go into settings to enable a diagnostic log. Am I able to set the flag for the log outside of the sim?

Found a way to set the flag. Log below: the PMDG737Variant() line keeps repeating until the end of the log file (when I hit the Quit to Desktop button). As the log was 680MB at this point, the zip file was too large to upload.

Thanks to your log, I could find the problem:

it happened only with the bbj variants of the PMDG 737, because the program entered in an infinite logging loop because it couldn't find the variant in the airplane title ( PMDG named the BW variants with a "bb2" in the title and the SSW variants with a "bbj2", so this confused GSX ).

Fixed by running another update Check now.

Im having the same issue with GSX in perpetual "loading". This is on the PMDG 77F. Ive done a check on the installer and clean install last night but the issue hasnt been resovled.

You surely don't have the same issue. The issue we are discussing here was an infinite loop caused by logging too many times the BBJ variants of the new 737-800 in MSFS 2024, which resulted in an abnormal memory allocation, and it's fixed.

Your issue doesn't have anything to do with this, and it's the one discussed at Page 98 of the manual, which has a chapter called "What to do when the menu is stuck on Loading", please don't post here about this, because it's nothing related to 3.7.4 and has been discussed so many times, that's why there's a paragraph in the manual about it.
