Count me to that group having this issue.
What I dont get is, why is this issue still there if you close the cockpit door. If you do that, the Seated Pax disappear... Hm

Because someone hasn't optimised their program. There were updates to LOD in SU3 which other developers addressed (whom have much more geometry in their cabin than Seated Passengers) but not Umberto.

Has this issue been fixed in the new version?

Sorry, I misread it. There hasn’t been any update.

Why you keep repeat this, when I clearly explained there's nothing left to optimize and we are as optimized as ever ?

There hasn't been any "updates to LOD" in SU3, the new LOD curve has been added in SU4 and OF COURSE, with today's update, we updated ALL LOD for ALL GSX Vehicles, because the new LOD curve is more permissive and, since lots of users don't like pop-ups, we change all LOD tables for all vehicles to be MORE visible ( = LESS "optimized" ).

All vehicles in GSX has been updated to follow the new LOD curve added with SU4, but NOT Seated Passengers, because they are extremely well optimized, with multiple LOD levels, and if we used the new LOD curve on them, the fps impact would be much worse, because the new LOD curve is allowing to draw MORE polygons before flagging a red error and eventually kill the object. If we used the new LOD curve with Seated Passengers, we would force the sim to draw a lot more of polygons.

The other mistakes in your statements are:

- we should "optimize their program", indicating you don't seem to understand that Seated Passengers are NOT "in the program", they are part of the airplane.

- other developers addressed "much more geometry than Seated Passengers". Make a proper example, and we'll see of this "much more geometry" is JUST static geometry, or under a Visibility condition, because what you keep failing to understand, is that issue is, is the SIM that is not as effective as it was until SU2 to completely ignore attached objects that are invisible having failed a Visibility condition.

Why you think it's an issue we could "fix" ? I gave you a proper explanation about it.

Seated Passengers are the only thing we haven't touched any LODs and, in general, something we haven't touched at all in the update.

We changed the LOD for ALL vehicles *except* Passengers and Seated Passengers, and that would in theory make fps possibly worse, but lower pop-ups for all vehicles *except* Passengers/Seated Passengers that hasn't been changed, because we cannot afford to use the less restrictive LOD curve introduced by SU4 for them.

What happened after our *previous* update, was SU4, which has improved exactly that ( fps impact of attached objects that are failing a Visibility test ), compared to SU3 which was much worse, even if it's not as good as it was SU2, but it's surely usable.
