GSX Not Launching / Couatl Crashes at Airport Cache (P3D)

Hello, sorry to disturb, but I’m having some problems with GSX in Prepar3D and I really need some help.

First issue:
Before, GSX (Couatl) always crashes during the “Regenerating airport cache” process. It gets stuck at 89% and then crashes not the simulator itself, but GSX. I already reinstalled GSX three times, but nothing seems to fix it. The GSX menu also does not appear in the Add-ons menu inside P3D. I’ve tried multiple troubleshooting steps, but it still won’t work.

Second issue:
After I reinstalled the whole GSX, GSX now doesn’t launch at all. I can see Couatl in the system tray when I start the sim, but when I spawn into the airport, Couatl crashes again and GSX never appears.

I’ve tried many fixes like deleting temporary files, reinstalling Addon Manager, and restarting the sim, but still no luck.

If ever you have any idea how to fix this, I would really appreciate your help.

@ChadXavier, your first problem sounds similar to one I experienced a year ago. If you install Herve’s BGLs that might explain the problem. In all likelihood the crash was caused by a corrupt BGL.
