GSX behaving strange
« on: October 10, 2025, 11:17:24 am »
Hey i know GSX havend had an update since a while ago...

And I am using SU4 Beta Built.13

but GSX is behaving strange an is sporning stairs on the right side of the plane and sometimes spawns stairs at a Jetway possition.
Also take a look at the livery of this missplaced stairs, it dosent make any sence here at this airport.

It dosent matter wich airport, it happens a lot these days.

Neither issue is likely GSX, it certainly does not spawn jetways at all in 2024, you'll have to await an Asobo fix.

It is Asobos fold that i get stairs on the other side of the plane? Thats interesting... Maybe i need to make a Bugreport with my picture on the MSFS Forums.
Why do i belive they will tell me it is a thirdparty issue?

You guy's should stop asking for support with third party add on when using Beta versions of MSFS. Even PMDG 777 have strange issue with Beta SU4, and they clearly say that as developers, they do not offer support for Beta versions. Use stable release, and see if the issue is still there. There's allways a good chance that beta version mess up with other add ons. That's why is called ”Beta” , and not ”Stable” .

I’m not complaining at all — just sharing it here for the community, since maybe these issues could already point to what’s coming with the next SU4 release. That way GSX can get prepared for potential problems before they hit the stable version.

Or, of course, we can all just wait until SU4 goes stable and then wonder why nothing works anymore.

Take it simply as feedback for those of us currently dealing with the SU4 beta.
You’re welcome :-)

Cheers,
Stefan

I am still asking myself if this is a "me" problem or a SU4 Beta problem with GSX. And again, we will hopfully see SU4 full release anytime soon. So it might be godd to prepare GSX than, if those issues are coming from the Sim.

So why is GSX giving me a third stairs with even none making sense handler texture on it.
I never had a third stair on the right handside of the plane...

It's an SU4 Beta problem. Not a problem "with GSX".

There's not much to prepare here, we can't do anything about MSFS own bugs, other than reporting them.

You are assuming GSX is doing that, because that stair "looks like GSX", but it's not. What you see there is a default ground vehicle handled by MSFS, which HAPPENS to look like GSX, because GSX replaced its visual model, but it's still an MSFS own ground vehicle handled by MSFS, that also explains why the operator is not the one selected by GSX, because that stair there is NOT called by GSX.

The bug in the sim here might just be it decided to send a stair on a service door for no reason, same as when it docks a jetway on a rear door or a service door, if you parked in a position that would make those doors solvable.

Thank you for your answer!

I dont have default ground vehicle handled by MSFS active as i know. Is there a way to disable it?

Stefan

The default pushback function is not related to the visibility of the tug: it's an internal function in the sim which will always start when triggered, even if there was no truck available.

So, you need to find which one of your add-ons is sending the start pushback command. I can only assure you it's not GSX. Maybe it's just a conflicting key, not used for that purpose.
