VDGS Display Problem
« on: May 17, 2025, 11:16:08 pm »
Hello,

I'm having a problem where some of the VDGS letters are protruding or even missing. What could be causing this?
The photo shows an example from MK Studios LSZH.

It has to do with the initialization of the VDGS if I understood Umberto correctly, if it is initialized before the current altitude is set (or whatever, something like that), the text gets misaligned. Workaround: restart Couatl. It will then be correct.

Yep, have exactly the same issue but was dismissed by Umberto when I reported it as "That doesn't happen." and suggested I must be making GSX profiles incorrectly.

Same issue.. Restarting Couatl does not fix it for me.  Actually, I see some places where it looks like I have two VDGS displays overlapping.   How do you specify which airports use GSX vs. Nool vs. Aerosoft VDGS systems??

Hi everyone,

I'm glad I'm not alone. But constantly restarting Coutal can't be a permanent solution, can it? I still have to try that myself... As for the double VDGS, see if you've accidentally activated both airports. That's happened to me too, even though I always check all of them and deactivate them if there are two (Addon and Asobo).

But I'd be happy for a permanent solution.
