But what to do meanwhile we cannot deactivate streamed airports? i.e. LSZH Zurich gets streamed too
The workaround to rename for asobo_xxx or microsoft_xxx cannot be used for linked airports?

This works for me

OK - in FSDT installer I choose FS2024. I see for say GSDT KCLT I have an Install Option and an Activate Option. In RED it says not installed. I cut and paste my KEY from MSFS2020 in and it says NOT VALID? Can the same key codes from MSFS2020 be used in MSFS 2024

It's not possible it would say that. Maybe it's saying "not ACTIVE", which means you need to activate your key.

Of course it works. Of course you must type it correctly, and it must ben an key for MSFS 2020, NOT FSX or P3D.

OK - the problem is I am not sure if the MS2020 keys were purchased back in the P3D days. So I re-bought KIAH for MS2024. It indeed installed. The last question I have is (when I installed it) it never asked me for which sim 2020 or 2024 to install it in. How do I know if KIAH is successfully installed in MS2024. It is not in the Community folder in MSFS2024.
In the Universal Installer, how do you distinguish between my MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 files??

No FSDT product is ever installed twice, and it's not installed in the Community folder, it's just linked to it, but the actual installation happens only inside the Addon Manager folder. If you have more than one MSFS version installed, the simulator you are operating on can be selected from the list under the "Release Notes" button in the installer.
