Floating runway lights in fsx airports

Hi.. I seem to have runway lights that "float" above the runway. I dont think its just related to FSDT airports but to FSX in general. Has anyone else noticed this, and is there a fix? I have attached 2 pics.

Reminds me of Ultimate Terrain.  You wouldn't happen to have Ultimate Terrain installed, would you?

Yes I do as a matter of fact :o

I'd suggest deactivating Ultimate Terrain and see if it goes away.  If it does, you know there is some sort of conflict with that that is putting the lights over the airports.  If it doesn't, then you'll have to dig deeper.

But to clarify, the floating lights are over the airport, correct?

I had deactivated UTX and the problem was still there. The lights float above the runway. Also, I had a plane once floating above the threshhold of the runway(where fsx places it when you choose "active runway"). When i taxied foward the plane crashed to the ground and fsx restarted itself. Thanks for your help.
