This cant be the reason!  I only purchased GSX on the 8th of May so my first installation had the new Fonts from the get go and worked fine until I reinstalled it yesterday .  I’ve uninstalled it and reinstalled with fresh installers from the FSDT website 3 times today. I’ve tried updating it through the Universal Installer and the couatlupdater exe with no success.

Every time I start the sim at a gate Couatl crashes and sometimes takes the sim with it .

I’m running a fresh install of p3dv5.4 on windows 11 and Defender has been disabled every time and after every reboot.

yeah that definitely isnt it if all of us are getting this same error out of nowhere. Hopefully support can help us

John Haley:
I get the exact same error noted here.

I run the GSX update every time before I fly.

The installer for GSX P3d says version 2.97, the Windows Control Panel shows GSX version 2.98.

My GSX Pro version for MSFS shows "3.0.7 is installed" and "3.0.7 is the latest" but how can I check the version for P3d.    I really don't know if its updating.   the link posted by support indicates the fixes to version 3.0.7 were for all versions of GSX.  I wouldn't expect the update to appear in the Control Panel. But with the FDST installer - it clearly shows GSX Pro running 3.0.7, but again, there is no version listed for the GSX and GSX L2 installs.

virtuali:
There's no version listed in the P3D version, so you just run an update Check on it, and it should download all the latest files.

In this thread and across the other threads describing the same font issue, users have clearly stated that LiveUpdate has been used but the problem has not resolved. Reinstalls aren't working either. So many of us are after something else to check because LiveUpdate is not fixing the issue, me included.
